Version 1.0.1 - 6 October 2026 (supersedes Version 1.0 of 25 August 2026)

1. About Covarage

Covarage Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202531227H) ("Covarage", "we", "us") provides a technology platform for Singapore businesses. This agreement applies whenever you access or use the platform or covarage.com. By using either, you agree to these terms.

2. What Covarage does

The platform lets your business:

  • keep your insurance documents in one place;
  • see the renewal dates you record, in one place;
  • record the insurance requirements you tell us about;
  • store a claim document and forward it when you ask us to; and
  • be introduced to a licensed insurance intermediary, if you ask us to.

3. What Covarage does not do

Covarage is not an insurer, an insurance broker or a financial adviser, and does not hold any licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Covarage does not:

  • give advice or make any recommendation about insurance;
  • assess whether the cover you describe is adequate or appropriate for your business;
  • compare, rank or express any view on any policy, insurer or premium;
  • arrange or conclude any contract of insurance, or bind cover;
  • underwrite any risk, or provide any underwriting service;
  • assess, negotiate, adjust or handle any claim;
  • issue policy documents; or
  • receive, hold or handle premium or any other money belonging to you.

All advice about insurance is given to you by the licensed intermediary, not by Covarage. Where you are shown a comparison of options, it is prepared and presented by that intermediary using a format the platform provides. Covarage does not populate it or influence what it contains.

4. Introductions and our partners

Covarage works with licensed insurance intermediaries. We are not tied to any one of them, no intermediary has exclusivity over the platform, and we may work with others.

We will only introduce you to an intermediary if you ask us to, and we will tell you which intermediary it is before we do. When we make the introduction we pass on your details and the requirements you have recorded, as you gave them to us. We do not assess or comment on them.

After an introduction, we may monitor how promptly and how completely the intermediary responds, so that you can judge the service you are receiving. That monitoring measures service only. We do not review, rate or comment on the cover an intermediary proposes to you.

5. What it costs, and how Covarage is paid

The platform is free while in early access. We will tell you before any charge applies.

Covarage is not paid anything by any insurer. Covarage does not give advice, does not recommend a product and does not choose your insurer. Your licensed adviser does that, and they are accountable to you for it.

6. Your account

Accounts are opened by Covarage's team after you contact us. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that takes place under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authority.

7. Your information

We use the information you provide to operate the platform, to store the documents you upload, and - where you ask to be introduced - to pass your details and recorded requirements to the intermediary concerned.

We do not sell your information. How we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal data is set out in the Covarage Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

8. Claims

Where you upload a claim document, we store it and - only when you ask us to - forward it to your intermediary or insurer. That is the whole of our role in a claim. Covarage does not assess, negotiate, adjust or handle claims, does not act for any insurer in relation to a claim, and takes no part in deciding whether a claim is paid.

9. The platform is provided as it is

Covarage provides the platform on an "as is" basis and does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Information about insurance products, cover, terms and premiums comes from intermediaries and insurers, not from Covarage, and Covarage does not verify it. Covarage is not responsible for any advice given to you by an intermediary, for any policy you take out, or for any decision you make about insurance.

Renewal dates are shown as you record them. Responsibility for renewing your policies on time remains yours.

Nothing in this agreement limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Singapore law.

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this agreement, or where we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice first. On termination you may ask us for a copy of the documents you uploaded, and we will retain data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Where a change is material, we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the change.

12. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under it.
